Your Next Phone Could Be More Powerful Than A PS3
Published on January 01, 0001
In
2005-06, the Xbox 360 and PS3 were cutting-edge pieces of consumer electronics, finely tuned to deliver a premium gaming performance with the very latest technology inside. As is the way
with technology, though, as components mature they get smaller and cheaper, so it’s not too bit a surprise to hear Nvidia saying the next generation of mobile phones
will “outperform” the current generation rummy royal of consoles.(new Image()).src = 'https://capi.connatix.com/tr/si?token=995c4c7d-194f-4077-b0a0-7ad466eb737c&cid=872d12ce-453b-4870-845f-955919887e1b'; cnx.cmd.push(function() { cnx({ playerId: "995c4c7d-194f-4077-b0a0-7ad466eb737c" }).render("79703296e5134c75a2db6e1b64762017"); }); “The PS3 and Xbox 360 are barely more powerful than mobile devices”, Yono all app Bit-Tech reports Nvidia’s Senior Vice President of Content & Technology Tony Tamasi as Yono all app saying. “The next click of mobile phones will outperform [them].”
So by this time next year, or at the latest the year after that, as companies like Samsung are announcing phones like the Galaxy S5, we should start seeing this level of visuals in action. The games will probably still be ruined by touch-screen controls, of course, but hey, at least they’ll look nicer. Next generation mobile processors will outperform PS3 and Xbox 360 [Bit-Tech]
